Second hand tickets for MGMT (early show on a Monday) are going for ~$77 each. I’ll be in Chicago in a week where they are the opening band at another show that sold out long, long ago (930 club tix were gone at least a month ago). I have to admit that while I totally dig them, I’m surprised they appeal to so many people in such a frenzied way. I’m pretty sure this is more than Arcade Fire cost. Then again, who am I to question the allure of sexy tripped-out wilderness dancing?
